Future Workshops

Charming Amsterdam

NL Workshop

We are glad to announce our new workshop in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, partnering with Amsterdam based photographer & Sony global ambassador Albert Dros

In this 3-day workshop you will shoot cityscapes from different locations during the sunset & sunrise

Thurs. 05.10.2017:

4:00 pm: Introduction

Meet up with Daniel, Dany and Albert with a small introduction.

5:30 pm: Shooting

We will be at the shooting location at 5:30 pm. The sun will go down at 7:08 pm. You’ll learn techniques on how to shoot and setup your camera.

Shooting ends between 8:00 pm & 8:30 pm (after blue hour).Today’s location will be along the famous Leidse Gracht in Amsterdam. During sunset we can see the sun going down behind Amsterdam’s typical houses along the canals. With Amsterdam’s beautiful bridges that light up during the evening and the crazy boats with different lights, we will have lots of different shooting possibilities during both sunset and blue hour.

Fri. 06.10.2017:

Part I:

7:00 am: Sunrise shoot

Sun rises at close to 8:00 am. We will arrive early to shoot the sunglow in the sky and wait for the sun to rise above the canals.

Our meetup will be at Central Station ‘Meeting Point’ sign. This location offers multiple vantage points for shooting the rising sun

Part II:

5:30 pm: Sunset shoot

This last sunset shooting is organized in collaboration with the Hilton Skylounge Amsterdam.

We will be shooting the sunset from a higher vantage point with a beautiful view over the skyline of Amsterdam. This location is great for both sunset and blue hour.

Meet at Hilton Skylounge entrance at 5:30 pm. Because we’re shooting from a rooftop terrace we have the possibility to get some nice cocktails or beers during shooting :)
